Barack Obama, after one of her teenage fans committed suicide because he was being bullied for his sexuality.
The Born This Way star took to Twitter to express her anger over 14-year old Jamey Rodemeyer's death, stating that she wants to speak with Obama to put an end to bullying.
Lady G tweeted: "The past days I've spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone's life."
"Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 yrs old, took his life because of bullying. Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime."
The You And I singer added: "I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it,"
The Daily Mail reports that in the hours before his suicide, Rodemeyer posted a lyric from GaGa's song The Queen on Facebook, writing: "Don't forget me when I come crying to heaven's door."
He then left two final messages on his online blog, with one paying tribute to Lady GaGa, where he thanked the eccentric songstress.
Following GaGa's outburst on the social networking site, ABC News have reported that the police have opened a criminal investigation into Jamie's suicide.
