Lady GaGa Unveils Born This Way Album Cover
And Judas is released early after it leaked online…
Lady GaGa has released the cover art for her Born This Way album.
Again, the superstar has managed to surprise with a striking image – GaGa as half-human, half-motorcycle. She released the image on Twitter this morning along with some lyrics from Highway Unicorn (Road To Love): “Get your hot rods ready to rumble, cause we’re gonna fall in love tonight. Get your hot rods ready to rumble, cause we're gonna drink until we die.”
The Bad Romance singer has described her forthcoming album as a drug. "Born This Way is the marijuana to the heroin of the album," Lady Gaga said of the LP’s first single. "The [album's] experience gets massively more intense as you explore it. All the different songs are different kinds of highs."
GaGa also used her Twitter page to announce the early release of the album’s second single Judas, which was brought forward due to online leaks. The track was scheduled for release on 19 April but is available to download now.
The chart-topper recently described the video for Judas as “the greatest work we've done”. But she has been criticised by Catholic groups for religious imagery in the promo and for releasing the track so close to Easter.
Born This Way is out on 23 May.
