Lady Gaga is travelling in style as she recovers from her recent hip surgery, whizzing around in a 24-carat gold plated wheelchair.
The 26-year old, who has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of her Born This Way Ball tour following her operation, is using a chair that has been created especially for her by designer, Ken Borochov of lavish brand Mordekai.
According to the MailOnline, Gaga's wheels comes complete with a leather seat and removable canopy, as well as sporting a padded leg rest and gold-plated brakes.
Photographer Terry Richardson posted snaps of the singer in her chair on his Tumblr blog, with one image even showing the pair embracing.
Speaking of Lady G's 'chariot' - which he created in a week - Borochov explained that the design took inspiration from a throne.
He stated: "I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen."
Gaga previously informed her Twitter followers that she was having to use a wheelchair after her surgery, affectionately naming her wheels 'Emma.'
She has since thanked her Little Monsters for their support, writing: "As they wheeled me into surgery today, I thought about all of your pain and perseverance, your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles - sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me.
"So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream, and this is just a bump in the road. I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not."
Gaga also hit the headlines this week after her pal Lady Starlight hinted that the Poker Face star could marry her beau, actor Taylor Kinney, this summer.
