GaGa told the publication: "When I am not on stage I feel dead. Whether that is healthy or not to you, or healthy or not to anyone, or a doctor, is really of no concern to me."
The Edge Of Glory singer continued: "I don't feel alive unless I'm performing, and that's just the way I was born."
Lady G also spoke to the mag about her fans, aka her Little Monsters, claiming that she can't stand not being in contact with her followers.

The 25-year old explained: "We have this umbilical cord that I don't want to cut, ever. I don't feel that they suck me dry."
"It would be so mean, wouldn't it, to say, 'For the next month, I'm going to cut myself off from my fans so I can be a person'. What does that mean?"
She added: "They are part of my person, they are so much of my person. They're at least 50%, if not more."
GaGa, who also appears on the cover of Rolling Stone in just a black bra with red hair, has also released several new promo shots to accompany her Born This Way LP, with one of the snaps showing Lady G exposing her bottom.
