Lady GaGa Will Release Alejandro As Next Single

Plus Elton John wants to duet with Lady G on the new Bond theme...

Lady GaGa has dismissed reports that her next single, Alejandro has been scrapped due to poor feedback from US radio stations.
The Telephone singer, who recently spoke about the new video for Spanish inspired track is alleged to have rowed with her record label over which song from her Fame Monster LP would be her next single after her label preferred Dance In The Dark.


Contactmusic reports that Alejandro has failed to make an impact in countries outside the US after it charted at a poor 78 in Canada and struggled to make the top 50 in Australia, entering the chart at number 49.
However, GaGa has insisted the track will be released posting on her Twitter page: "Alejandro is on the radio. F**k it sounds so good, we did it little monsters."
Alejandro, the follow up track to the number 1 smash hit Telephone with Beyonce is due for US release on April 20.


One person who doesn't think the Lady G bubble has burst is Sir Elton John who has revealed that if the rumours of GaGa recording the next James Bond theme are true - he is keen to work on the track with her.
GaGa is reportedly Bond producer's first choice to record the lead track for the 007 flick due for release in 2011 and Sir Elton is adamant if the Poker Face star is the chosen one, he wants to join her on the track.
The Rocket Man singer, who collaborated with GaGa at this years Grammy Awards said: "I'm really pleased that Lady GaGa is up for the theme tune. She's fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet."
