Exciting news Lady Gaga fans - it seems Mother Monster is working with RedOne again!

Yep, Lady G took to Instagram last night (January 15) to share a snap of herself and the producer back in the studio.

[related]The star famously worked with RedOne on some of her biggest hits, including debut track Just Dance, Poker Face and of course, Bad Romance!

He teamed-up with Gaga again on 2011 album Born This Way, but was notably absent from her latest record ARTPOP- which didn't perform as well as Lady G would have hoped.

The singer's snap sent fans into a frenzy, with many already speculating that the pair are conjuring up their next pop smash and hoping for the return of "old Gaga".

Earlier this week, Lady G posted a bare-faced bed selfie, where she teased new music, writing: "Basically I can't sleep without every single song I'm writing repeating endlessly, but I'm loving it again.

"Embracing the torture, as I'm assaulted by my own thoughts. Like a locust giving birth to earworms. Eeeeew!
