Lamar Odom ‘Had 12 Strokes’ While In Critical Condition And Is ‘Definitely In Need Of A Kidney Transplant’
Reports also say Rob Kardashian has offered to be a donor.
He was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital a week after being found unconscious in a brothel due to a suspected overdose.
And now, while Lamar Odom has made massive leaps in his recovery so far, it is being reported that he is in serious need of a kidney transplant.
According to US Weekly, the former NBA star is suffering from ‘major kidney failure’ and is even on dialysis.
But while that diagnosis has by no means been confirmed by Khloe or anyone else close to Lamar, the Daily Mail claim that Rob Kardashian has offered to donate a kidney to him if necessary.
A source supposedly told them: "Rob is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lamar recover.
“If that means donating a kidney then so be it, Rob has a big heart and he's willing to step up to help his friend."
There are also reportedly calls for concern over Lamar’s brain injury, which was supposedly caused by having 12 strokes during his time in intensive care.
"That's the most serious thing he's dealing with,” an US Weekly source explained.
"The doctors just don't know the extent of all the damage yet. There are still a lot of tests that need to be done."
A separate insider told the mag: “He can say a few words. He's doing a tiny bit better, but he has a very long road back to full recovery - if that.
“He'll get more of his motor skills back gradually, but cognitively, he's not where he used to be."
This news follows Khloe’s return to her app and website, as well as leaving Lamar’s bedside to be at sister Kim’s recent Troop Beverley Hills themed baby shower.
