You Have Lana Condor’s Platforms To Thank For Noah Centineo Being in 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before'

To all the boys that are way too tall, here’s the trick.

Just when you thought Lana Condor couldn’t get any more endearing, the actor admitted that her co-star Noah Centineo had to disguise his 6'1"height by hunching down when stood next her while auditioning.

The heartthrob had to somehow reduce his height in order to be cast as Peter Kavinsky alongside 5'3"Lana in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, so he didn’t seem to be towering over her during filming.

"When we auditioned and chemistry read together, at the end of the chemistry read you have to stand next to the person you read with and you have to take a picture to show the producers the height difference," Lana explained at this year’s Vulture Festival in Los Angeles.

The pair definitely had chemistry while on set and were cast, but it took until the pair began filming and had to do a camera testforNoah to be rumbled, which is where the platforms come in.

"When we went into a camera test, after we'd already been cast, I didn't make it into a frame with him, because he’sthatmuch taller than me. I heard the producers were like,What is happening?"Lana said. "Later, Noah told me he would stand behind me and scrunch down to make himself look shorter.”

But a solution was found to keep the duo for their chemistry, as Lana’s character, Lara Jean Covey, was given a pair of platform Dr. Martens to boost her own height.

Luckily Lana mentioned at the fest that she loved the shoes. Win, win.
