Lana Del Rey has cancelled her first ever gig in Israel.

The Ultraviolence singer was due to take to the stage at Tel Aviv's Exhibition Ground on August 20 but has been forced to scrap the show due to the conflict in Gaza.

[related]According to The Jerusalem Post, fans of Lana who had purchased tickets will be notified of an alternative date.

Tickets for the original gig will still be valid for the rescheduled gig.

Del Rey is not the first act to cancel shows in the region, with Cee-Lo Green and Megadeth also axing appearances.
