Lana Del Reyhas explained the meaning behind a controversial lyric on her new EP, Paradise.
The Born To Die singer caused a stir after releasing a clip from a song entitled Cola - which includes the line: "My p**sy tastes like Pepsi-Cola."
During an interview on Australian radio show Triple J, Del Rey was quizzed about the choice of words, where she replied: "I have a Scottish boyfriend, and that's just what he says!"
When asked if she had hesitations when it came to releasing the tune, Lana stated: "I didn't but everyone around me did. They just thought it was really weird - nothing new here.
"For me that song was so cool. The guys got to play electric guitars... the chorus opens up and has tropical undertones. For me, the vibe of it is so good, I love it."
The Video Games hitmaker added: "There was a lot of laughter. I'm getting lots of Pepsi comments... lots of Pepsi fanmail."
