Lana Del Rey 'Has Three Albums Worth Of New Songs'
Her record label boss has said Lana's unreleased tunes are brilliant...
Lana Del Rey apparently has three albums' worth of previously unreleased material following her debut LP, Brand New For 2012 nominee as a "talent writer and a remarkable lyricist."
Speaking of the 25-year old songstress, Unger-Hamiltion said: "She had three CDs' worth of songs written, with loads of brilliant tracks,"
"Enough for us to do the album and a deluxe [edition] and still have stuff left for later records. She's a really talented writer and a remarkable lyricist."
He went on to state that there were concerns that Lana - real name Lizzy Grant - would be unable to follow up the huge hype of single Video Games, explaining: "This all started because of the power of a song. As we speak, Video Games has spent eight or nine weeks in the UK Top 20.
"This project would have undoubtedly been a disaster with that much attention if she didn't have 60 or so songs written when we signed her."
Earlier this month, Del Rey's Born To Die stormed to the top of the official UK album chart - making it the fastest selling LP of 2012 so far.
