Lea Michele has been a busy bunny in recent months, launching an exciting solo music career and now publishing a book.

The Glee star shared the front cover of her memoir Brunette Ambition with followers on Twitter, giving the book a plug at the same time.

She wrote: "My #BrunetteAmbition book cover! I love it so much! Pre-order the book here: http://www.bit.ly/LeaBook"

And just in case her fans didn't realise when it was coming out, she added: "What do you guys think of my #BrunetteAmbition cover?! I can't wait for you all to ready it! #May2014"

Rather than following the standard celeb biography format, Lea's tome is described as a combination of memoir, style guide and how-to manual.

The book's website says: "Lea Michele is one of the hardest-working performers in show business and she knows better than anyone that it is difficult to be your best self and keep things in perspective when your to-do list is overflowing and you are faced with challenges.

Lea recently revealed a third track from her debut album, Louder.
