Lea Michele Reveals Plans For First Christmas Alone
Credits family and friends for support since Cory Monteith's death...
“I have my amazing family with me, my mum and my dad, and we’re just going to do something the three of us and spend time,” the Glee star told Extra. “I have the most incredible family, my dear friends are always there for me and they’re wonderful. I’m so thankful for them.”
Lea and on-screen love interest Cory were in a relationship up until his tragic death during the summer. Lea also credited fellow co-star Amber Riley for helping her get through those tough few months.
“She’s the best, I’m so proud of her, she’s been there for me so much through everything,” said Lea. “I’m so thankful this year for those friends and for my family.”
Lea also found solace in her work on the hit TV show. “I love my job, I love Glee, I love Ryan, I love my cast,” she gushed.
She wouldn’t confirm rumours of a spin-off for her character but she did say: “I would be happy for there to be a spin off and then another spin off and then Rachel’s at the senior citizen home and we’re singing for everyone.”
“I would be happy to play Rachel Berry until I’m old with a cane!”
