'Girls' Renewed For A Fifth Season Before Fourth Is Even Aired
Lena Dunham must be doing something right...
The fourth season hasn’t even premiered in the States yet, but Girls has already been renewed for a fifth series.
Lena Dunham’s often worryingly true-to-life drama-comedy has been one of HBO’s most popular shows in recent years, with its depictions of twenty-something life striking chords with millennials all over the world, for its on point assertions of young person #struggles.
Celebrating the launch of the fourth series, stars were out in full force at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday night. This season will see Hannah leave the city and her boyfriend Adam for writer’s school in Iowa, as well as nutty Shoshanna finally enter the ‘real’ world as she graduates from college. The trailer hints at some definite cracks beginning to appear in the group, and the fatalist in us can't wait to see plots unravel.
