Lenny Kravitz Live

Lenny promotes his Love Revolution to a keen London crowd in Camden Town...

Although the credibility of the gig felt slightly impaired by the mass of commercial branding throughout the venue there was no denying that Lenny Kravitz can still put on an amazing show.

Joined on stage by a large band- consisting of two saxophonists, a trumpet player, keys, drums, bass and a second lead guitar Lenny played hits all the way from the Let Love Rule album right up to his current offering It Is Time for a Love Revolution.

After an intro of two tracks Lenny declared that he wanted to hang out and began an improvised jam with saxophonist Karl Denson.

Kravitz exercised his musical abilities by playing guitar, piano and even drums on Let Love Rule.

He played an extended version of his latest single Ill be waiting on keys whilst his amazing guitarist had time for some juicy solos.

Lenny then went on to perform the title track from his new album and allowed a group of people on stage to start a love revolution!

The only problem with this was the over forceful security that proceeded to help people off stage when they decided the time was right.

The crowd weren't left disappointed as the band came on to perform the classic anthem Are You Gonna Go My Way for an encore.

The gig was polished and showcased the musical talents of both Lenny and his band combining his classic hits with surprsingly well received new tracks.
