Leona Lewis 'Collide' Legal Battle Over
Her comeback single will now be released as a collabo with DJ Avicii...
As we previously reported, Lewis and her record label Syco were accused by Tim Berg - or DJ Avicii as he is also known - of plagiarism, with his label Ministry of Sound taking legal action for the apparent unauthorised use of his tune, Fade Into Darkness.
Earlier this month, Lewis was then taken to court over the song and it has now been confirmed that Collide will be released as a collaboration between the former The X Factor champion and Avicii.
An official statement read: "Leona Lewis and Avicii will work together on the forthcoming single Collide. It has received rave reviews and is already topping club charts across the country."
Berg later responded to the news on Twitter, posting on his official page: "So happy to move on with Leona and focus on having a hit together."
"We've finally come to an agreement with Leona on all the issues. So happy to move on and focus on hit making!"
He added: "Glad to FINALLY have resolved situation with Leona. Music is the answer!"
