Leona Lewis "Not Bothered" If She's Boring
The X Factor star has also slammed female artists for being "too sexy"...
Leona Lewis has stated she doesn't care if some people think she's boring.
The Collide singer, who shot to fame after winning the 2006 series of The X Factor, told Rollacoaster magazine she would rather be seen as boring than someone who is brash.Lewis revealed: "I've read it, especially from one journalist who has never actually met me. But it doesn't bother me."
The Hackney born star added: "I'd rather be seen like that than a harsh, brash person. If my friends said that then I'd have something to worry about!"
Leona, who also appears on the front cover of Rollacoaster - which is out next week - has also claimed she believes certain female artists push the boundaries when it comes to being sexy.
Speaking to Stylist magazine, the 26-year old said: "Personally, I think some people go too far. I don't really like to see people dancing around a pole or gyrating on a guy every time I go to a concert."
"I just don't think there is any need for it. I'd rather be something positive, especially to young girls. It's not something I want to represent and I find it a bit insulting as a woman. There's a way to be sexy that's not too in your face."
Lewis added that she would never go naked for a photoshoot, claiming: "I would never do a bikini shoot. It's too embarrassing,"
"No weird sex books for me either. I watch what I eat and I eat really healthily most of the time, but other times, I'll just eat what I want. I'm happy with my figure."
