Leonardo DiCaprio Honoured With UN Messenger of Peace Title
The actor has also been spotted rapping at 1OAK in West Hollywood alongside pal Jamie Foxx...
Leonardo DiCaprio was named the new UN Messenger of Peace on Saturday (September 20), where he spoke of the 'honour' it was to receive such a special title.
"To be bestowed this honour to be able to speak and have a public forum representing a concerned citizen about such an incredibly important issue, like I said, it's not only humbling, but I hope to serve this position well and I look forward to speaking on Tuesday," he explained in his speech.
The 39-year-old actor will speak tomorrow (September 23) at the UN Climate Summit, where he will work with leaders and promote climate action for a healthy planet.
Though saving the planet isn't the Oscar-nominated heartthrob's only passion, for Leo was recently spotted rapping alongside Jamie Foxx at a party in West Hollywood.
Yep, wearing his favourite hat pulled down to cover his face he can be heard spitting bars along to 'Scenario', pretty impressively too.
Act, save the planet, rap... what next?!
