The first promotional image of Hugh Jackman in Les Miserables has been released.
The 43-year-old star plays Valjean in the movie adaptation of the long-running musical - which also stars Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and Amanda Seyfried.
Accompanied by the tagline "Freedom is mine", the poster also announces the movie's release date as 11 January next year.
