Liam Gallagher ‘Bans Noel From Gig’

He apparently doesn’t want his brother anywhere near his comeback concert…

Liam Gallagher has reportedly banned brother Oasis members Gem Archer and Andy Bell and their live drummer Chris Sharrock, will play Dublin in April in front of a star-studded crowd but, according to The Mirror, Liam’s estranged brother is not welcome.

“Liam has said that Noel is 100% barred from the Dublin gig," a source toldthe newspaper."The order has been made very clear. The brothers haven't spoken in more than a year and there's clearly no love lost between them. Liam is worried Noel will try and turn up to a couple of the gigs on his tour and stir things up.”

The date will mark Liam’s first gig since Oasis split in 2009 following a row, and he plans to use it to show the world he can have a successful career in music without his brother, Oasis’ chief songwriter. The source said: "Liam is on a mission to prove there is life after Oasis so the Dublin gig is huge for him. It's understandable he is worried Noel turning up would ruin the whole thing."

Beady Eye play the Olympia in Dublin on 15 April.
