Liam To Make Oasis Movie

Brit-pop legend to turn band memories into a film...

Liam Gallagher has said he plans to make a film or book based on his experiences as lead singer of Oasis.

The singer, who now fronts the band Beady Eye, already has his own media production company, In 1. Liam formed the company earlier this year to work on a feature film about the Beatles, based on the best-selling 1973 book The Longest Cocktail Party.

Speaking to the official website of his menswear range Pretty Green, Gallagher was asked whether he would like to do a project based on his memories of the Oasis years. In typical style he replied, “Yep, without a doubt… Before I forget them all”.

According to reports, the singer-turned-entrepreneur is also planning to emulate fellow pop singer Lily Allen and open a London shop for his clothing range, which launched a year ago.

Meanwhile, estranged brother Noel has lashed out at England's efforts in the World Cup, declaring "it's all over" after they drew 0-0 with Algeria.

The former Oasis guitarist appeared on James Corden's World Cup Live show to discuss the match."If they couldn't beat Algeria, I can’t see them beating Slovenia," Noel said. "Slovenia are going to need to draw that game to go through, so they've got something to play for. It's all over."
