Oasis Will Never Reform, Says Liam

He claims his new album is ‘best record in 50 years’…

Liam Gallagher has dashed fans’ hopes he will one day reconcile with brother Noel to reform Oasis, saying he won’t singwith the band ever again... unless he’s desperate for cash.

"The only reason why Oasis will come back is when we're f**king skint," Liam claimed in an interview with Sky News. "I'm far from skint as you can tell and I won't be skint for a long, long f**king time. Believe me, it ain't gonna be happening."

He’s also taken the opportunity to boost about his new band Beady Eye, madeup ofhis Oasis bandmates Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock. Liam said their new album, due out next year, would be the "best record you'll hear for the next 50 years".

"Everything we do isn't a flash in the pan otherwise there's no point in doing it," the frontman said. "I'm not here to sell papers or get a little headline, but if we're gonna do something we are gonna do it proper, whether it's music, film, clothes, drink or whatever it is. We don't fart about."

Liam also discussed his work on a new Beatles film, based on the 1973 memoir The Longest Cocktail Party. "It's a good book and we can't balls it up now so the heat is on," he admitted.

"I'm more worried about getting that book right than getting the clothes right, and my record right. I'm not going to be in the film but I'm worried about getting it right, because it's other people's lives."
