Liam Neeson Writing Movie Script With Bono
The film will be set amongst the 1970’s Irish music scene...
Speaking to The Independent while promoting his new film A Walk Among the Tombstones, Neeson revealed the celeb duo are hard at work on a movie.
"We chat, or with him a lot of the time I just listen," said Neeson of his relationship with Bono. "He’s a wonderful man. He’s got an idea for a script which we’ve been working on for the past six years."
According to the paper, “The film will be inspired by the Irish showband phenomenon of the 70s, although it is unclear as to whether Neeson will star in the flick himself. “
The project would mark a screenwriting debut for Neeson, who has appeared in dozens of films but has never made the jump to screenwriting.
In January, the actor will reprise his role as bad-ass dad Bryan Mills in the third instalment of the wildly successful Taken franchise.
