Liam Payne has opened up about the time Donald Trump kicked One Direction out of his hotel after they refused to meet his daughter.

Speaking about his run-in with the now President of The United States, Liam toldRollacoasterMagazine:"Donald Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once.You wouldn't believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter."

"He phoned up our manager and we were asleep. He said, 'Well, wake them up' and I was like 'No' and then he wouldn't let us use the underground garage."

Donald obviously didn't take the snub too well, and immediately ejected the band from his premises: "Obviously in New York we can't really go outside. New York is ruthless for us. So he was like, 'OK, then I don't want you in my hotel.'"

Revealing that he and the rest of One Direction had to pack their bags and find somewhere else to sleep, Liam said theyfollowed orders and "left" the hotel.
