While their relationship might look the image of perfection, Liam Payne has revealed that he had to convince Cheryl not to dump him during a phone-call that could've changed the whole course of their lives. Not to mention throwing Bear's entireexistence into question.

Explaining that it hasn't all been plain sailing in their romance, Liam shared that there's one track on his album that tells the emotionaltale of them fighting for their relationship.

“There’s one song that is basically a phone call that happened between me and her when she was about to let it go," he confessed to The Sun.

Revealing that he had to reassure Cherylto give their romance another try, he said:“This is a long time ago. And it’s basically me trying to cling on and say: ‘No, no, no it’s all going to work out — don’t worry about it, give it time.’”

Thankfully the pair of them worked through their problems and went on to have baby Bear, with Cheryl being totally cool with him travelling the world to promo 'Strip That Down' while she stays at home with the baby.

“She’s like, ‘You’ve got to go out and do your job, do your job.’ That’s how she is with it and Bear’s beautiful and I love him and I miss him terribly," he shared.
