The First Time Liam Payne Met P Diddy Sounds So Awkward We Want To Cry

Having been in the biggest boyband on the planet and now a solo star in his own right, most people would be delighted to meet Liam Payne.

But in a recent interview with KIIS FM’s Kylie and Jackie O, the former One Direction babe admits that his fame doesn’t always work in his favour.

Chatting about one particularly awkward time when he took the opportunity to meet P Diddy, Payno explains why he’s a little scared of him now.

'I went over to speak to him and Jay Z, and as I shook his hand, he just chuckled... the most evil laugh that I've ever heard,' Liam said. 'So I'm a little bit fearful of that man.'

He adds that the whole thing seemed to last for a lifetime, really just making the whole thing so much worse.

'It was like the most daunting celebrity experience that you could ever imagine. I thought P Diddy was a safe bet. Obviously I missed the mark a little bit,' he continued.

Maybe P Diddy just isn’t a 1D fan (apparently that’s possible)? Or he just, um, well their must be a logical explanation, right?
