In the preview, Dane DeHaan's character accidentally runs over his zombie girlfriend, played by Parks And Recreation's Aubrey Plaza, before she meets his childhood friend Anna Kendrick for the first time.[related]

The quirky zom-rom-com follows Zach (DeHaan) who is devastated by the death of his GF Beth (Plaza). But when she somehow comes back to life, Zach tries to take advantage of the situation by doing all the things he regretted they never got to experience.

However he soon realises she isn't the girl he remembers as her zombie impulses grow stronger, and Zach begins to drift further away.

Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, Jim O'Heir and Cheryl Hines alsostar in the flick, which is set for release in the UK on October 1.
