Celebrity Workouts IRL: The High Intensity Circuit Training

We tried to get ourselves a Khloe Kardashian bod.

Now that most of our fave celebs are just as obsessed with working out as they are with taking a selfie, we figured it's about time we see what all the fuss is about.

Which is exactly why we recently popped down to London's super fancy Core Collective studio, and tried out a circuits class that had us crawling to the nearest tube station after.

In a good way, obvs.

What exactly does it entail?

We started withthe studio's signature 'Velocity'classy, which is described on their website as '45 minutes of high intensity, athletic interval training, with fitness, function and flexibility at its core. Get rid of what you don’t want. Tone up what you do.'

And oh my goodness was it it intense.

It's essentially a circuits class, except in between your two rounds on each station is some seriously strenuous floor work that'll have your abs crying the next day.

Our fave part? Getting to slam a really heavy rope into the ground.

Why the celebs love it...

Aside from the entire cast of Made In Chelsea being their number one fan (it is in Kensington, after all) Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are also big believers in short bursts of intense exercise.

Why? Well HIIT hasbeen scientifically proven to burn more fat and calories than a steady paced run, as it starts your body's repair cycle sooner.

Sweat Factor...

After the warm-up we'd sweated enough for a Saturday morning, so you can only imagine what we looked like by the end.

Enjoyment Factor...

With eight different stations within the circuit there wasn't a moment for us to get bored, so we couldn't have had a bigger smile on our face by the end.

Could we move the next day?

No, but in a good way.Our abs still hurt and it's day two already! Six pack here we come.
