So Goyle From Harry Potter Is A Professional Cage Fighter Now
Life after Hogwarts isn't quite what you'd expected.
When you graduate from wizarding school, you might expect to become and Auror, driver of the Knight Bus but - if you're really, really lucky - you might just end up a cage fighter.
Granted we're guessing that might not be exactly where you'd expect a bunch of NEWTs from Hogwarts to land you, but it's exactly what's happened to Josh Herdman, who played Slytherin baddie Gregory Goyle in the movie adaptation of the JK Rowling novels.
Having graduated from taunting Harry and performing acts of minor evil for pal Draco Malfoy, Josh is taking a break from the acting game to persue a whole new career: professional cage fighting.
We're guessing thuggish miscreant Goyle would be pretty proud of Josh too and while he didn't take along a wand for a wizard duel, he did kick some serious ass when he took to the ring during his MMA debut in Essex this week, ending up victorious.
That said, Josh hasn't quit acting for good, but speaking to Addictedotr.com at the fight, said: “I haven’t fallen out of love with it, I still have an agent and still go for auditions…It’s just a little big like playing the lottery for a living.”
Just in case you were wondering what else was going on in Josh's life these days, he's also married and a dad, which is pretty gosh darn cute, isn't it?
