Oops! We Advise You Don’t Try To Reenact Disney’s Up Anytime Soon
It won't have the same happy ending as the movie...
We all know Up, the completely adorable Disney Pixar movie that has us ugly-crying every time we watch it...
Well now a man in Canada has taken his love for the film a little too far, by reenacting the famous balloon scene no less.
Daniel Boria tied more than 100 multi-coloured balloons to a garden chair recently and began to fly over the city of Calgary, before getting himself into a little spot of bother by getting arrested!
The stunt has a not-so-glamorous cause, that of trying to promote his cleaning products company… yawn. We’d have preferred it if he was really trying to make it all the way to Paradise Falls!
The 26-year-old said at one point he looked up to see some of the multi-coloured helium balloons popping and the $20 chair he was sitting on starting to shake.
“It was incredible. It was the most surreal experience you can ever imagine,” he revealed to local news station CBC.
As you can imagine, Twitter went pretty nuts for this real life Up story. One reporter even managed to film Boria’s take off!
The landing was less smooth however, as he sprained an ankle and had the police confiscating his chair, balloons and parachute.
