Stand Up 2 Cancer Livestream With YouTube Celebs: Behind The Scenes
They're crazy, but we love them.
A whole host of top celebrity YouTubers took part in a ‘Stand Up To Cancer with YouTube’ event on the weekend – a four hour live-stream which raised more than £180,000 for vital cancer research.
YouTube royalty like Dan & Phil, Zoella, Alfie Deyes, Caspar Lee, Joe Sugg, Marcus Butler, Oli White, Louise AKA Sprinkle of Glitter and LOADS more were involved in hosting the livestream, which took place at the YouTube headquarters in London. Over a 1000 hour period, these guys all fundraised via a bunch of crazy activities and challenges. And it was v entertaining.
We caught up with them at the event to ask them exactly how far they’d go to raise money for charity. We even got some music celebs involved!
So there you have it: worms, slugs, nakedness... if you pay them enough, they'll do it! Because it's all for a good cause.
(Though the YouTubers would probably do it without getting paid cos, let's face it, they're a bit mad.)
