The Couple With A Three-Year Tinder Joke Just Met For The First Time Live On TV
And now they're finally off to Hawaii.
Remember the couple who's hilarious three-year Tinder joke resulted in the big bosses at the dating app agreeing to send them on an exotic first date in none other than Hawaii? You know, the matches who kept each other waiting several months between each hilarious reply.
Well our dreams of Josh Avsec and Michelle Arendas (the pair behind the bants) first meeting while adorning their best tropical shirts as they sip Pina Colada's out of coconuts and gaze into each others eyes has been ruined. But tbh something even better happened.
That's right, after their story blew up on Twitter earlier this month the guys at Good Morning America decided to get the couple to meet live on telly before jetting off for their week long date to Maui, Hawaii.
The seriously extravagant date was all arranged by Tinder, who totally fell in love with the story about the pair - who had never met despite the fact that they both attend Kent State University in Ohio.
As if they hadn't already waited long enough for the moment, the pair sat on opposite sides of a wall as they were gruelled by the hosts for several minutes before the spectacular moment finally happened.
The pair were eventually instructed to go check out what they had been missing all these years and the whole thing was pretty cute, with Josh telling his match: "It's good to finally meet you Michelle. I'm blushing like crazy."
As promised, the pair were then jetted off to enjoy their week-long date in Maui so we guess things are moving pretty fast now.
Despite a slow start, their relationship seems to be well and truly on the fast track - make sure you send us an invite to the wedding guys!
