The Most 'Regrettable' University Degrees Have Been Revealed
Major regrets if you studied Psychology.
Even though University is the one time in your life when you're both allowed and encouraged to make mistakes, one regret that will set you back £27,000 is deciding your course was actually a total waste of time.
Dragging yourself out of bed to head to a lecture that will at least improve your prospects on the job market is one thing, but spending three years in the library to discover you're still unemployable is a totally different ballgame.
So, just to make everyone feel bad about their life decisions, the people at Emolument gathered up the satisfaction score of recent graduates to determine which courses result in the biggest regrets.
As you might be able to guess, Pyschology, Fine Arts, and History, Geography and Politics come up short on the list, being subjects that are massively unlikely to catapult you into a £50,000 starting salary.
Meanwhile, it's great news for people with a mathematical mind, with Natural Sciences and Chemistry coming out as the most 'worthwhile' course to undertake, with a solid 87% of graduates saying it was a good decision.
Still, it's important to remember that signing up to a Chemistry degree when you slept through your entire A-Level course is a bad idea, so it's best to stick with what you actually care about.
