X Factor Finalist Christopher Maloney Has Spent £60,000 On Plastic Surgery After Receiving Abuse From Trolls
Check out his transformation here...
Christopher Maloney, who was a finalist on the X Factor back in 2012, has revealed he's spent £60,000 on cosmetic surgery after receiving abuse from trolls.
The singer came third in the singing contest, and is said to have been sent so many hateful comments he had a breakdown leaving his self-esteem almost non-existent.
In total, Chris has had three hair transplants, an eye lift, a nose job and had his teeth done.
"X Factor was great, but as the series was going on and the further that I got in the competition, I was getting really bad trolls and they were telling me that they were going to kill me and shoot me," he said on This Morning today (May 27).
Adding: "I was called Mr Potato Head, that I was ugly, that I had a big nose and it just affected me so much and at the end of the final, I did have a breakdown."
He was even admitted to The Priory Clinic for help following the final of the show.
"I never thought of surgery beforehand. I did block the online trolls but they got me on the lowest part of my life. I hated myself, I hated looking at myself, I would analyse myself in mirror," he said.
But thankfully Chris has reached a happier point in his life now.
"I feel so much better now. It has made made me more confident and now I'm looking forward to the future."
