You Need To See al Qaeda's Weirdly Mundane Application Form
The documents were released today...
An application form for al Qaeda, taken from the 2011 Pakistan raid that killed Osama bin Laden, has been released by US officials today and it's surprisingly… normal?
The document begins just like any other mundane application form, asking prospective candidates to "Please enter the required information accurately and truthfully."
It then proceeds to ask for a "Nickname/Alias" and later, "Any hobbies or pastimes?"
It goes on to become far more detailed: "Do you know anyone who travels to Western countries?" Adding: "Do you wish to execute a suicide operation?"
The mandatory health question isn't forgotten: "Do you have any chronic or hereditary disease(s)?"
Before the final contact details section: "Who should we contact in case you became a martyr?"
You can read the whole thing here.
