YouTube Singer Greyson Chance Comes Out As Gay In Inspiring Post
The singer, who was discovered by Ellen Degeneres when he was 12 years old, came out with an awesome message.
Snaps for Youtuber Greyson Chance, who took to his Instagram on Thursday to come out to his fans and share a seriously inspiring message.
The 19-year-old, who caught the attention of Ellen Degeneres in 2010 when his cover of Lady Gaga's 'Paparazzi' went viral, accompanied his message with a rainbow pride flag.
He wrote: "I came to fully recognise that I was gay when I was sixteen. I decided not to publicise my sexuality largely due to a matter of privacy, as I was still trying to find comfort and confidence within my own skin."
With some pretty wise words, he used his announcement to offer support to those also going through a similar experience, saying: "I encourage anyone who is navigating their sexuality to devote as much time as they need to the process of finding self-confidence, self-acceptance, and self-love."
Greyson concluded his awesome message by saying: "I figured now was the time to let a few more friends know that I am happy, I am here for you, and I am proud of who I am. Cheers -G."
We couldn't be happier for the singer, who signed to Ellen's record label Eleveneleven when he was 12.
