Lil Wayne may have only been behind bars for a short time, but the rapper has reportedly already got a job in jail.
The Drop The World rapper, who is currently serving a years sentence at New York's Rikers Island slammer has allegedly been given a job monitoring prisoners on suicide watch.
According to Weezy's ex-wife Antonia 'Toya' Johnson, the star is enjoying the responsibility of his new role at the prison correctional facility.
Johnson told US: "He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don't kill themselves. He likes the job even though they don't pay him much."
When asked how Lil Wayne is coping with prison life, his ex added: "He is doing okay. He is getting along with everybody. He didn't have to cut his long hair!"
The rapper has also recently launched a website in which he has been busy blogging from his prison cell.
