Lil Wayne In Gun Trial
The rapper will have to answer firearms charges in April
A judge has ruled that a gun can be used as evidence in Lil Waynes impending trial.
The rap star- real name Dwayne Carter- is due in a New York court on April 20 after the judge set the date.
He was arrested in July 2007 after a show and faces a charge of criminal weapons possession and one charge of criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
Appearing in court Lil Wayne reportedly wore sunglasses and a leather jacket and blew a kiss to fans waiting outside.
The Lollipop rapper is currently on tour in the US and will release his new rock album Rebirth on May 19.
