Lil Wayne In Solitary Confinement

Lil Wayne has been put in solitary confinement in Rikers’ Island jail near New York, according to reports.

 

It’s thought the rapper was found with an MP3 player and headphones, which are strictly forbidden by prison authorities.

 

Weezy had apparently hidden the device with another inmate.

 

The Lollipop star will now be imprisoned on his own for 23 hours a day and only be allowed one call a week, according to TMZ.

 

Weezy was sent to jail back in March after pleading guilty to a gun possession charge stemming from 2007.

 

He’s expected to be released on November 4, although his latest misdemeanor may get that release date changed. His label Cash Money are said to be organising a concert to celebrate him getting out of jail.
