Lil Waynewas back on stage just days after being released from jail when he joined Drake at his concert in Las Vegas on Saturday 6 November.

The Forever star mentioned his mentor several times throughout his set and was met with cheers each time, particularly when he asked fans to join in for Weezy’s verse in Right Above It.

The Young Money boss finally made an appearance during Miss Me, running on stage midway through the song and changing the lyrics to refer to his jail time: “I was gone till November, but I didn't trip cause I know he was gonna get 'em.”

He thanked the audience for their support as they chanted his name. “I'm back. It feels good to be back. If you love me like I love you, please make some motherf***ing noise. I'm fresh home from my vacation and ain't nothing, nothing, nothing like home.”

Drake later revealed he had known the star was backstage but didn’t know whether he would perform.

The celebrations continue tonight at Lil Wayne’s welcome home party in Miami.
