Lil Wayne Sentencing Delayed
After a fire at the courthouse…

Lil Wayne was not sent to prison as expected yesterday after a fire at the courthouse where he was due to be sentenced.
It’s now thought the rapper’s hearing will be re-scheduled for today (March 3).
Weezy will serve around one year in prison after pleading guilty to gun possession charges stemming from 2007.
In a video message recorded after he found out about his extra day of freedom the rapper said: “I'm ready. I'm all smiles, They can't break my strength. They can only lock me up physically. They can't lock up my mind.
“They can't lock up my heart. They can only take my time because the law allows them to. Time is precious, but love is life. So therefore in the end my love will prevail."
The A Milli star hit the studio yesterday to record more material and he also made a guest appearance on stage with Jay-Z at his Madison Square Garden gig.
