Lil Wayne Sentencing Delayed Again

Lil Wayne’s sentencing has been delayed again until March 8.

 

The rapper- real name Dwayne Carter- is set to be sent to prison for a year over a gun possession charge from 2007.

 

He was due in court on Tuesday March 2 until a fire broke out at the Manhattan Criminal Court Building.

 

The cause of the blaze has been ruled as an electrical fault in the basement of the building.

 

It was then thought he would appear on the next day but his hearing has now been delayed until this coming Monday.

 

Lil Wayne has filmed a string of music videos before entering prison for singles likely to be released later in 2010.
