Lil Xan Got A Face Tattoo In Memory Of Mac Miller

“I want to be like a normal person.”

Lil Xan has opened up about his struggles with sobrietyand dealing with the death of his friend and idolMac Millerafter memorialisingthe rapper with a new facetattoo.

He took to Instagram to share a close up of his new tattfeaturing the latin phrase 'Memento Mori',which translatesto 'Remember you will die'.

Lil Xan captioned the shot with: "Miss you Mac, y’all can start hating me now."

Noah Cyrus’ ex also recently appeared on Adam22’s podcast No Jumper to talk about his substance abuse issues, his relationship with Mac Millerand how he’s coping after the singer’s passing, saying: “The Mac shit is crazy. I've been crying in my apartment, Mac didn't die, Mac didn't overdose.”

And he added that Mac’s death has made him think twice about his involvement in the entertainment industry, as he made the statement that he’s “retiring after this contract.”

"When your hero dies, f***that shit, I don't want to make music no more," he added.

Discussing Mac Millerhe went on to tell the presenter of the podcast the last thing he told him, saying: “Before I went, he was like 'Be safe.' I was thinking, people say that you know, like 'be safe.'”

“But then he grabbed me, and he was like 'No I mean BE SAFE, bro I care about you.' And I was like, dude that means a lot. That shit almost made me cry, that's my idol right there," he added.

The rapper also broached the subject of his own struggles with substance abuse and how he plans to “get sober."

“I want to be clean and sober, but that shit is hard.... I want to get sober now, completely sober, but it’s so hard. I just want to be off everything,” he said.

He went on to add: “I want to be like a normal person.... if I didn't have a tour coming up I would be in rehab right now."
