Meeting the parents is a pretty big milestone to hit in a relationship, and Lili Reinhart has taken Cole Sprouse home to meet hers for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Riverdale actor took to her Instagram Stories to share cute snaps of herself and Cole enjoying the festivities, surrounded by autumn-coloured leaves. American rom com vibes everywhere.

In one of the snaps posted to Instagram, you can see Cole looking sweet as hell staring lovingly at one of Lili’s pet dogs. It’s a ‘We wish someone would look at us the way…’ meme just waiting to happen.

And in another shot there’s another dog, because why not? Clearly he felt left out of the fun and who are we to stop pets from also enjoying the holidays.

Lili also shared some family moments online of her dad cooking them breakfast and making Thanksgiving cookies with her goddaughter, Adeline.

It looks as though their relationship is just going from strength to strength, but let’s be real here, any relationship that involves two people constantly trolling each other online has to last. It just has to.

Especially since they both leave each other the sweetest messages too. For Cole’s birthday this year, Lili called her beau “my love.”

“It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you. I’m so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure,” she wrote alongside a photo of Sprouse sitting on a wall, "Happy birthday, my love.”
