Despite claiming not long ago that she wanted a new puppy to be brought to her in every town she visited, Lily Allen's only ever had eyes for one dog: her very own Maggie May.

This Christmas, however, some sticky fingered London tea-leaf has walked off with her little hairy wonder, leaving Lil stuck in Jamaica and desperate for news.

Shed left little Maggie with a friend while she took a well earned Christmas break, but the dog was taken from the van outside his house on Capel Road in Londons Forest Gate.

To make matters worse, the well loved pet was undergoing medical treatment, and was due for an operation on her stomach.

Maggie was taken this morning, there is currently a reward being offered and Lily assures anyone with information that no-one will be angry - "me and my family just want Maggie home."
