Lily Allen Courted By Political Parties

Ahead of the election this May…

Lily Allen has revealed that both Labour and the Conservatives invited her to their party conferences to bag her support.

Tory leader David Cameron recently said he wouldn’t let his daughter listen to Lils because of her lyrics. Asked about it by The Times she said:

“Yeah, and also I thought that his favourite album that he likes listening to with his kids is the Arctic Monkeys, which if I’m not mistaken is all about one-night stands and prostitution.

“But never mind. I don’t think they’d have been denouncing me if I’d turned up at the Conservative party conference…. (and) Yes, I got an invite to the Labour one as well.”

In other Allen news reports- claim she’s signed up for a new TV show that will follow her adventures in fashion.

It will reportedly be broadcast in early 2011.
