Ever since Lilly Allen rose to fame back in 2006, she's been one of British pop's most important artists. From 'The Fear' to 'Close Your Eyes', she has an incredible knack for writing lyrics that are somehow both poetic and conversational at the same time.

Her new Giggs collaboration 'Trigger Bang' is no different and she's just released an incredibly moving music video for it.

'Trigger Bang' is a witty, touching ode to the pitfalls of fame and addiction and its music video sees a talentedactor play a young version of Giggs and two talented actresses play Lily first as a teenager and second in the early stagesof her music career.

From underage drinking to drug-filled parties, it unflinchinglydocuments Lily's past experiences.

That's not all though. The video then ends with Lily and Giggs themselves, older and wiser, leaving the celebscene to catch up in a cafe. It's a simple but beautifully directed depiction of maturing and realising and cherishing what really matters to you.

Like all things Lily, the visual is incredibly candid and relatable in spite of her being a star.

The single itself is also up there with Lily's best and we cannot wait to see her perform it.

'Trigger Bang' is the first track from Lily's upcoming album 'No Shame'.

The LP is scheduled to be released this summer with a tour in March.
