Lily Allen had a surprise guest at her hen party on 20 May – Gordon Ramsay!

The celebrity chef turned up unannounced to give Lily and her friends a cookery lesson.

"I am on my hen, having a cooking lesson with a very special teacher," the Glastonbury Festival, according to festival boss Michael Eavis.

"Lily's coming down for her honeymoon,” he told The Sun. “We'll look after her – she'll get well treated. I've known her since she was tiny. She's such a star. I'd love to get her out of retirement. I'm really looking forward to her wonderful wedding."

But the wedding plans weren’t going well earlier this week when Lily vented her frustrations on Twitter. She wrote: "Tip of the day: don't ever get married. Everyone involved (or not, as the case may be) turns into a ****. Is there a train station for Gretna Green?"

But she eventually calmed down and tweeted, "All fine now, said ****s are safely back in their boxes".
