Lily Allen has dropped out of the judging panel for a prestigious literary prize.

In an unexpected move last year she was named as one of the experts deciding who would win the Orange Prize For Fiction.

But now Lils has quit the job due to ill health which has kept her from reading all the novels in the category.

Allen must have an increasingly hectic schedule- shes working on a second album and has a weekly chatshow on TV. She has also been modelling for a posh underwear firm and is rumoured to be starring in a film with Russell Brand.
