Lily Gets Her Visa

The singer has something to smile about

Lily Allen has been granted a U.S visa more than a year after she was forced to cancel all her US tour dates, including a performance at last summer's VMAs.

The Alfie singer had her visa revoked and was refused entry to the country in August 2007 after being arrested on allegations of assaulting a photographer.

And Lily is clearly delighted with the decision saying "I got my U.S. visa today, yay! It means I can go and tour there and finish what I started, which is something I've wanted to do for a while."

Lily is due to release her long-awaited follow up album to 2006's Alright, Still in February 2009.

The album was due to be released as under the name Stuck On The Naughty Step but Lily changed her mind and is now going with the title Its Not You Its Me claiming she got bored of the original.
